Colorado Springs recently installed its first solar farm on land owned by the Pikes Peak Community Foundation. The array, located at Venetucci Farm and installed by Real Goods Solar, is over half a megawatt. Colorado Springs Utilities customers that can’t or don’t want to have solar panels installed at home can lease two or more panels from the array and get a discount on their utility bill, as well as take ownership in a future with cleaner energy!
