The Project Coordinator serves as the single post-sale point of contact for Real Goods Solar customers and manages the customer experience throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for being a subject-matter expert on all processes associated with the installation of Real Goods Solar residential PV installations. This includes learning current processes and incorporating new processes that emerge in an ever-changing environment.
- Interacts with customers via telephone and email according to Real Goods Solar customer communication protocol throughout the duration of the project life cycle
- Coordinates with customers and Site Techs to schedule site survey appointments
- Coordinates with other Project Administration Team members to collect project documents for customer signatures
- Communicates with other departments internally as necessary to ensure project milestones and customer expectations are met
- Prepares project information for handoff to Operations team for installation
- Responds to customer inquiries and manages problem resolution
- Maintains accurate Salesforce.com data and interconnection documentation
- Other tasks as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- College educated
- Job related experience in customer service and project coordination
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or equivalent
- Can communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Must be able to research and analyze problems and make independent decisions
- Strong ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks with minimal errors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
