This position is currently available in California (Orange, Murrieta, Fresno, San Jose, San Rafael) and Colorado (Denver). We are seeking select individuals who are willing to put in long hours, work hard, handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude while overseeing and training a team of 6-8 Solar Advocates. Most solicitation is through neighborhood canvassing and door-to-door (face to face) contact with prospective customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor and direct a team of 6-8 Solar Advocates (SA) in your region
- Generate leads – quota of 25 site visits per week, by team
- Attain 50% lead-to-site visit percentage
- Help recruit, hire and train new SAs
- Schedule daily kick-off meeting in the area you will be knocking, focus on script, how to close an appointment, quality of lead
- Have maps with streets highlighted for SAs to work, track areas worked
- Have all supplies for SAs – script, qualification forms, leave behind piece, other collateral
- Track daily results of team, leads generated and hours worked by each SA
Essential Qualifications:
- Reliable, professional appearance, punctual
- Positive mental attitude with the willingness to learn and grow with an aspiring company
- Coachable
- Expert at outbound cold calling and prior door-to-door marketing experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Teachable, trainable, and can retain information
- Energetic and ready to chat for dollars
- Persuasive personality a must
- Work hours are M-F 3pm to 8:30pm and Sat 9am to 3pm
- Reliable transportation required
- Meet personal quota of 4 site visits per week
- Must pass a background check
Compensation:
Compensation is $12 per hour, $4 over-ride for each team member’s site visit, $25 commission each personal site visit, $50 commission each personal site visit that results in a sold solar system. We also award generous bonuses and perks to top performers throughout your employment. We provide you with the tools necessary to generate sales including marketing materials, ongoing training and sales support.
