The Commission Analyst audits Real Goods Solar residential and commercial solar PV contracts, job quotes and online job-related data for accuracy and completeness at several stages of the project life-cycle. This role also updates, analyzes and revises contract, job costing and online job-related data based on the results of field surveys conducted post-sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the calculation of all commission-based compensation for eligible Real Goods Solar employees
- Updates and distributes all commission reports for individuals, managers, and payroll
- Communicates and validates all commission payout exceptions with executive management
- Answers questions about commission plans, calculations, reporting, and individual commission payouts
- Audits commission data and reports to identify and resolve commission questions from employees
- Supports the development, implementation, communication and administration of commission plans, policies and performance quotas
- Performs other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- BA or equivalent education
- Good mathematical aptitude and accuracy
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, or equivalent
- Can communicate effectively, both written and verbal, in English
- Must be able to research and analyze problems and make independent decisions
- Capable of generating a high volume of work with minimal errors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
