Real Goods Solar Alliance Program Agreement
The Alliance Program (the “program”) provides businesses, organizations and individuals the opportunity to provide value-added service to their clients, members and community. Participants are compensated by payment of a referral fee for every person or business that enters into, and completes, a solar installation contract with us. The referral fee is $500, which may be in cash, or by a donation to a charity or organization of your choice.
This Alliance Program Agreement (the “Agreement”) is between Real Goods Solar, Inc., (“we,” “us”) and you, the undersigned (“you,” “your,”) and its terms and conditions govern your participation. You may participate as an individual or as a group. The program is effective from February 1, 2013 through January 31, 2014.
Lead Collection
We will work with you to identify the most efficient method of communicating to us the information regarding a referred lead under the program. Our preferred method of communication is referred lead entry via a web customer portal. You distribute the link to the portal to potential leads or assist leads in submitting the form. We can also utilize coupon tracking codes.
Tracking and Payment
We will provide you a monthly status report that shows the program’s progress. The monthly status reports show statistics and progress reporting, and is used for determining timing of payment of the referral fee. Payment to you will occur upon completion of the installation, which under the terms of this Agreement means final inspection by the applicable government authority. Any disputes regarding entitlement to a referral fee will be determined by us in good faith, in our sole discretion.
Brand and Copyright
“Real Goods,” “RGS Energy,” and “Real Goods Solar” are trademarks of Real Goods Solar, Inc. These brands and associated logos and other graphics must be displayed according to the direction provided by us. Any modification or other use of copyright material must be approved by us in writing.
Changes to the Program
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the program at any time. In the event of any material change, we will notify you via email, letter, or telephone at least 30 days prior to any such changes taking effect, at which time you may either agree to such changes or withdraw from the program. For any referrals that have been made, but where the referral fee has not yet been, payment shall not be affected by any change we make without your consent.
